Oakdale under 10's ventured out to a damp, cold and drizzly Bedwas this week. Oakdale won the toss and kicked off with some excellent passing by the team and good length of possession which resulted in a knock on for the boys to loose the ball to see Bedwas find a gap to score the first try. 1-0
Oakdale kick off again to pass the ball to Alex Williams for him to gain some ground and plough through the Bedwas team to eventually be taken down but after some excellent jackling and passing of the ball eventually loose to a Bedwas scrum which seen them score their second after some excellent defence by the boys 2-0.
Again Oakdale kick off and slowly made their way up Bedwas half only to be knocked into touch by Bedwas close to their line to gain possession and score 3-0 and bad luck seen the same to happen again to the boys for Bedwas to score another two 6-0.
Bedwas kick off the second half to see Bedwas awarded a scrum only to have the ball stolen by Oakdale. Excellent passing by Oakdale but loose the ball in the jackle only to shortly steal it back and make their way up Bedwas half thanks to Callum Lloyd, Alex Williams and Kaiden Davies gaining the distance. Out of the jackle deep in Bedwas half seen Connor Lewis dummy Bedwas to pass to Alex Williams who then directly passed to Cameron Breese on the wing to find a gap and score Oakdales first try 6-1.
Bedwas quickly respond and score 7-1 and quickly gain possesion shortly after Oakdale kick off. However heavy defence and superb teamwork seen Oakdale steal the ball and catch Bedwas unawares as Connor Lewis ran from deep in the Oakdale half to practically run the length of the pitch to score Oakdales second 7-2.
Bedwas kick off only to be knocked into touch by Kaiden Davies. Bedwas reply with a hitting Oakdale into touch too for them to score 8-2. 
However Oakdale were determined to score another try in the last few minutes and some great teamwork by Steve Caddy, Kaiden Davies, Joseph Brook, Jack Roberts, Sam Savage, Connor Lewis Callum Lloyd and Alex Williams seen them deep into Bedwas half and Cameron Breese score his second to bring the final score Bedwas 8 Oakdale 3
