Oakdale seen in their second home game of the season against Cwmbran at a damp home pitch. Cwmbran won the toss and kicked off to be met by heavy tackles by Kobi Rees, Alfie Lewis and Alex Coupe to force the away side into touch. Callum Lloyd then made really good distance up field to force a scrum to see some great passing and jackling to see Connor Lewis pass to Kobi Rees to score the first try 1-0. Again Cwmbrans possession was short lived by heavy hitting tackles by Kobi Rees and Alex Coupe to gain possession again for the home side for Kobi Rees to score his second 2-1. Cwmbran then responded to gain their possession back only to be stolen from them by Alfie Lewis and good teamwork. Again Cwmbran forced Oakdale into touch to finally score 2-1. Oakdale then responded with a quick try which seen Connor Lewis make good distance to pass to Callum Lloyd for him to use his power to smash through the Cwmbrans defence to score 3-1. Cwmbran kick off to be pushed quickly into touch again by Alex Coupe to see Cameron Breese make a great run to make the score 4-1 at halftime.

Oakdale start the second half with some great passing and possession and a great run by Alfie Lewis, Callum Lloyd and Alex Williams seen Connor Lewis score to make it 5-1. Cwmbran then keep their possession after some great defence by Kaiden Davies, Kobi Rees and Alex Coupe but eventually score 5-2. Oakdale then kickoff to some lovely teamwork by the boys to see Jack Roberts cut through the defence and make an excellent run to score 6-2. Cwmbran score again only to be met by some heavy tackles and good Oakdale defence. Oakdale then kick offto be pushed into touch but thier possession didnt last long as Oakdale stole the ball with some heavy pressure on Cwmbran to see great passing by Connor Lewis to Kobi Rees to see the ball to Cameron Breese for him to sidestep his way through Cwmbrans defence to score 7-2. Cwmbran then score another 2 tries after a swings and roundabouts last few minutes of possession which could have gone either way but the boys secured to win and the final score of 7-4.
