Fixture

Today saw Oakdale away to Newport Whiteheads. After a very heavy shower before play which gave everyone a soaking, it didnt seem to dampen the spirits of the under 10's as they won the toss and Callum Lloyd kicked off to see the ball to Kobi Rees and Alex Coupe only to be forced into touch. Newport gained the scrum only to suffer from a knock on from heavy Oakdale defence to award Oakdale with  the scrum. Some quick passing by Oakdale seen Kobi Rees through to score the first try 1-0.
Newport kick off only to be shortly denied possession by Kobi Rees which unfortunatley seen a slippery ball lost by Oakdale to award Newport a scrum. However Oakdale forced a knock on with heavy tackling to award themselves the scrum. Good teamwork allowed for Alex Williams to score the second try 2-0.
Newport kicked off to have the ball quickly stolen from them by Connor Lewis from some great tackling and pressure by the boys. Connor Lewis made great distance into the home side to allow Callum Lloyd make up more distance to pass to Jack Roberts to score the third 3-0.
Again some excellent defence and pressure seen a quick steal by Alfie Lewis for Oakdale to see the ball to Connor Lewis to cut right down the middle to score 4-0.
The boys again kept the pressure up to see the ball run loose to Connor Lewis to pick up and score his second 5-0.
Newbridge threw everything a Oakdale to gain distance into the away sides half only to be forced into touch by Kaiden Davies. Oakdale then held possession of the ball and made their way up field to see Connor Lewis score his third 6-0.
Newport kick off only to have the ball stolen from them again by Alfie Lewis to see Sam Savage make great distance into the home half only to be cut short but awarded a scrum. Pressure by the boys seen Kobi Rees over for his scond try 7-0.

The second half kicked off to Newport scoring their first try 7-1. Oakdale kick off to see Cameron Breese make good distance to see the ball to Connor Lewis but got hit short into touch. Oakdale shortly steal the ball back to have a good few minutes of both teams gaining possession with knock ons and the ball going into touch but eventually seen Kobi Rees score his third try 8-1.
Newport respond by scoring their second 8-2.
Oakdale then play their way up the homes half to see Callum Lloyd pass a great off load to Alfie Lewis to Cameron Breese to see Cameron score 9-2.
Kobi Rees forced Newport into touch again to see the team play well to see Connor Lewis score his fourth 10-2. 
Oakdale again picked up the loose ball to see the power of Alex Williams score his score and take Oakdale up to 11-2.
Kaiden Davies then forced Newport into touch to see Oakdale gain more possession to have the ball eventually returned to him to score his try 12-2. An outstanding performance by all the boys.
