Oakdale hosted their first home game of the season after the Christmas break to Ynysddu. Oakdale won the toss to kick off the match to be forced into a knock on, scrum to Ynysddu. Good pressure by the boys gained back possession to award themselves a scrum for the ball to be quickly stolen by Ynysddu but pressure again by Kaiden Williams, Jack Roberts and Alex Coupe force Ynysddu into touch. Oakdale gain possession again for Kaiden Williams make good distance and see the ball to Cameron Breese to find a gap in the Ynysddu defence to score 1-0.
Ynysddu kick off to run into excellent defence by Oakdale but eventually Ynysddu are awarded a scrum. Heavy defence by Oakdale see off the away side for excellent rugby by both sides to see the determination of the away side score their first try 1-1. Oakdale kick off and unfortunately loose the ball and the quick hands of Ynysddu score 1-2, only for Oakdale to fall into the same trap again for the away side to score 1-3. Oakdale respond by Kobi Rees passing a quick ball to Cameron Breese for him to find the gap again in the Ynysddu defence and run into the aways half to score his second try 2-3.
Again some brilliant defence by Oakdale see the boys win the ball from the pressure by a knock on. Great teamwork see Jack Roberts make great ground on the away side to see the ball comfortably to Connor Lewis for him to score 3-3.
Oakdale repeat the performance by keeping pressure up to fall short of the try line for Ynysddu to steal the ball, however excellent tackling by Kaiden Williams sees him steal the ball out of Ynysddu hands right on the line for him to fall into an excellent try at the half time whistle 4-3. 

Ynysddu start off the second half by heavy tackling by Jack Roberts and Alex Williams. Oakdale win a scrum for Jack Roberts to pass to Cameron Breese to make good distance and passes to Kaiden Williams for him to use his power to see off three or four of Ynysddu defence wrapped around him to score his second 5-3. Ynysddu respond by keeping up the pressure to eventually win the game 5-8. 

Excellent rugby overall by Kobi Rees, Alex Coupe, Alex Williams, Joseph Brook, Sam Savage, Cameron Breese, Kaiden Williams, Connor Lewis, Callum Lloyd and Jack Roberts seen them the winning team in the eyes of the Oakdale supporters.
