This the boys travelled to Caerphilly, the hosts won the toss and started the game.  Thomas Gregory was there for the first tackle and handing off by Caerphilly gave a penalty to the Dale.  The ball was passed back to James Williams who had a run before passing back to Connor Thomas, he was also penalised for a hand off.  James Williams, Gabriel Jones, Connor Thomas and Jordan Way were stopping the Caerphilly attack before another hand off gave the Dale the possession.  Jordan Way had a run, he passed to Gabriel Jones, and onto Max Rossiter before he is tackled by Caerphilly and they claim the ball and run through the Oakdale defence to score, 1-0.  Dale restart and Caerphilly are sent back for not being back 10.  Oliver Cooke takes the ball and passes to William Morgan, a knock on gives the scrum to Caerphilly.  William Morgan, Gabriel Jones and Jordan Way tackle before Thomas Gregory pushed them back.  Dylan Caddy came in for an excellent tackle, Thomas Gregory and Oliver Cooke put in some more tackles before Caerphilly score, 2-0.  Dale restart and William Morgan takes the ball, it is fed through the team before the balls is lost and scrum to Caerphilly, they spot a gap on the wing and used it to score, 3-0.  Dafydd Price passes to Jordan Way, he made good ground and passed to Oliver Cooke, Caerphilly were penalised for two in a tackle, William Davey had a run and again Caerphilly were penalised for two in a tackle.  The ball was passed to Thomas Gregory, he was tackled before the try line.  Caerphilly took the ball and Jordan Way drove them back, the Dale defence were strong and forced Caerphilly to throw a long pass which was picked up by Connor Thomas he ran and passed to Oliver Cooke, he made good ground but was tackled just short of the try line, the ball was passed to William Morgan to score, 3-1.

First third Caerphilly 3 – Oakdale 1

Dale start James Williams had a run and passed to William Davey and onto Oliver Cooke, he was tackled and the ball went loose, he pounced back on it but scrum was awarded to Caerphilly for a knock on.  Oliver Cooke tackled them out of the scrum and the Dale claimed the ball but were quickly penalised for a hand off, Caerphilly used this to score, 4-1.  The Dale restart Jordan Way takes the ball and passes to Thomas Gregory and onto Dafydd Price, Max Rossiter is in support and ploughs his way through the Caerphilly defence to score, 4-2. From the restart Jordan Way pushed Caerphilly back, Dale are penalised for two in a tackle, Caerphilly regroup and push through the defence to score, 5-2.  Oliver Cooke takes the ball and it is passed between Gabriel Jones, Max Rossiter and Jordan Way before being passed to Thomas Gregory for him to find the corner flag, 5-3.  Some great tackles by the Dale cause a knock on and scrum to the Dale, the boys thought the ball was a hot potato being juggled by the boys it goes forward and scrum to Caerphilly, from the scrum they score, 6-3.    From the restart Gabriel Jones takes the ball, he passes to Max Rossiter who pushes his way up the field, he passes to Oliver Cooke who pushes further, it gets passed to Jordan Way, he goes over in the corner but is in touch.

Second third Caerphilly 6 – Oakdale 3

Dale start the last third of the morning.  The ball is passed between the team but no one is running forward and no ground is made.  Jordan Way eventually drives through the defence and passed to Oliver Cooke he passed to William Morgan who took the ball further up field, he passed to Dafydd Price and the ball went forward and was picked up by Caerphilly, they knock on and gave a scrum to the Dale.  Max Rossiter passed to Jordan Way, a loose ball was picked up by Caerphilly.  Gabriel Jones dragged Caerphilly down and a penalty was given against the hosts.  The Dale took the ball but it went loose and was picked up by Caerphilly.  The hosts almost found the try line but a knock on gave the scrum to the Dale, William Morgan and Jordan Way advanced up the field, the ball is passed out to William Morgan on the wing, he dodged a few players before passing to Thomas Gregory he had a good run and almost made it but a hand off and gaves away possession.  Possession passes back and fore before Dafydd Price has a run he is tackled and the ball goes loose, Oliver Cooke goes in for the tackle and a hand off gives the Dale the ball.  Connor Thomas has a run and almost makes it, he is pushed back and passes out, a knock on gives the ball back to Caerphilly, Gabriel Jones and Oliver Cooke slow down Caerphilly preventing any more tries this third.
