After a long break from Sundays games due to unsuitable playing conditions and unforseen circumstances the Oakdale under 10's played away to Risca. Risca won the toss to start the match to be met by heavy defence by Oakdale to be forced into a knock on ball and Oakdale awarded a scrum. Oakdale made good ground only to allow Risca to pick up a loose ball only to be met by two crunching tackles by Callum Lloyd then Kobi Rees to again win the ball back. Some excellent passing and play from Oakdale but pressure from Risca defence forced them into touch however a loose ball is quickly picked up by Alfie Lewis to see Kobi Rees and Connor Lewis pass the ball to Jack Roberts to make an excellent run but unfortunately get hit into touch just short of the home sides try line. However the ball is quickly taken again by Alfie Lewis to see some excellent play by the team only to be again scooped up loose this time by Risca to score 1-0.

Oakdale kick off to a lengthy session of rugby of swings and roundabouts by both sides showing excellent defence and attack, steals and hard hitting attacks in the jackle. Risca made their way to Oakdales try line but a determined Oakdale kept the home side from crossing the line to allow Risca to fumble the ball to be picked up by Connor Lewis to be quickly given to Jack Roberts and passed to Kobi Rees to make a huge run for the home sides line and score an excellent try to even the score just short of half time 1-1.

Oakdale kick off the second half to see the ball intercepted by Risca to quickly score 2-1. 
Oakdale kick off to see Kaiden Williams and Kobi Rees make good ground to find Cameron Breese open for him to cut across field and score Oakdales second 2-2.
Risca kick off to another lengthy session and possession was even by both teams but Risca sneaked in a try to score 3-2.
Oakdale kick off and excellent team work with plenty of passing and heavy jackling seen Callum Lloyd make a run for the corner to score 3-3.

Risca are quick to respond and score 4-3 however with only a few minutes to go to the final whistle a determined and passionate Oakdale werent going to let the game slip away from them and the guts and great effort showed by Kobi Rees, Kaiden Davies, Joseph Brook, Jack Roberts, Callum Lloyd, Alex Coupe, Sam Savage, Cameron Breese and Alfie Lewis seen Connor Lewis over the line to score 4-4 at the final whistle. An amazing game from the boys considering the amount of time they have had away from Sundays games. Well done.
